Shakedown for Super Aguri

14/02/2006

Ahead of its track (test) debut, scheduled to take place at Barcelona next week, the Super Aguri SA05 - previously known as the Arrows A23 - was shaken down at Kemble Airfield, near Cirencester in Gloucestershire, earlier today.

Although the team has yet to announce its driver line up for the forthcoming season, or even who will drive the car in Spain next week, it should come as no surprise to hear that Takuma Sato was at the wheel today.

Ever since the prospect of the team was first revealed, the former Jordan and BAR driver's name has been linked with the Leafield based outfit.

The car, which was all-white, didn't feature any form of livery or sponsor decals.
