Just a couple of days after posting the link on the site, readers already have their own personal favourite - most of them opting for the one where Jenson tells some lucky girl that she has a 'secret admirer' who is "good looking" and "doesn't fart in public".

Ignoring the fact that in our humble opinion Jense's dignity would have been best served by opting to sell the Big Issue outside Tottenham Court Road station, the fact is that he's done it, even though he has a £20m deal with Honda. Clearly, yet again, he has been badly advised.

However, looking around the CelebrityMessages website, it's clear that the Honda driver isn't the only 'celeb' willing to risk reputation and 'cool factor' for a few quid - then again, was Boy George ever really cool, and as for Tara Palmer-Tomkinson and Eastender Steve McFadden…

However looking and listening to this sad collection we wondered if our readers could come up with anything better.

Can you come up with the script for a ring tone - and which participant in the F1 circus would you use?

Sticking with Jenson (sorry), how about a "the contract I signed isn't worth a w***", or you could have Max Mosley telling the recipient that the rules of their contract with the service provider have been changed for next year, along with the pin number. Or even Bernie telling the recipient that he and the banks have sold the phone to a Luxembourg consortium - and god only knows what Flavio might say.

So there you have it, a ring tone using the voice and face of anyone in F1… the possibilities are endless.
