All's well at Jordan?

NEWS STORY

According to sources, all's well at Jordan.

We hear that the Irish outfit is feeling extremely confident in terms of engines and finance, not only for 2005 but beyond.

Following Ford's withdrawal from F1 there was serious concern that the Silverstone-based outfit, which has struggled for the last couple of seasons, might be missing from the grid next season.

For much of the summer, there was talk of a buy-out, led by the group (Grand Prix Investments) behind Team Dubai F1, with sections of the media constantly claiming that the deal was imminent - a view that Pitpass never subscribed to.

In recent weeks there has been talk of takeovers, involving Christian Horner of Arden International and even a Chinese consortium, while Toyota has been mooted as a possible engine supplier.

The reason for the new air of confidence in Dadford Road isn't clear just jet, but all should be revealed within the coming weeks.
