Mercedes has announced that its 2019 contender, the F1 W10 EQ Power+, will make its track debut on 13 February.

The German team, which is seeking to secure its sixth successive team and driver titles, having won both since the hybrid formula was introduced in 2014, this morning notified the media in a brief press release.

The track debut, at Silverstone, comes on the same day that Racing Point reveals its livery and identity for the coming season, and follows the unveiling of the Toro Rosso on Monday 11 and Renault on Tuesday 12.

The track debut, which in recent years the German team has preferred to the traditional launch, will form part of the allowed 100 km for 'filming day' purposes, thereby allowing the team to compete a decent shakedown before testing gets underway.

The first pre-season test gets underway on Monday 18 February.
