On the back of its first points finish of the season, Williams is going full-on aggressive for the next round of the championship in Spain.
While Mercedes is taking just 5 sets of the supersoft tyre - the softest compound available to the teams next week - Sergey Sirotkin is taking ten sets and teammate Lance Stroll nine.
If Williams is aggressive and Mercedes conservative, all points in between are covered by their rivals with Renault taking 8 sets of the red banded rubber and Ferrari, Toro Rosso, Haas and Sauber 7 sets. Red Bull, Force India and McLaren opt for 6.
In terms of the softs, Williams goes for one set apiece while the Mercedes pair opt for 5.
Force India takes the most medium tyres (4), while Ferrari, Sirotkin, Magnussen and Ericsson take just 2 sets.
Last year, as in 2016, Pirelli took the hard, medium and soft to Barcelona, Lewis Hamilton winning on a two stop strategy, starting on the softs before further stints on the medium and finally soft again.
