Today's news that F2 champion Charles Leclerc is to partner Marcus Ericsson at Alfa Romeo Sauber next season means that there is just one vacant seat remaining... that being the second drive at Williams.
Robert Kubica remains the favourite - in almost every sense - but the Grove outfit is in no rush to make a decision, leaving Paul di Resta, Daniil Kvyat and Pascal Wehrlein still in the frame.
