Pirelli has revealed the tyre compounds for the final two races of the 2017 season, and as expected the hard compound will not be seen again.

In Brazil, the penultimate race of the season, the P Zero White Medium, Yellow soft and Red supersofts will be used, this is a step softer than 2016 when the hards, mediums and softs were used.

One set of medium and one set of softs must be available for the race and one of them must be used at some point in the race, while the supersoft is the assigned tyre for Q3 in qualifying.

In Abu Dhabi, the final race of the season, the P Zero Purple Ultrasoft, Red supersofts and Yellow softs will be used, the same compounds as in 2016.

One set of soft and one set of supersofts must be available for the race and one of them must be used at some point in the race, while the ultrasoft is the assigned tyre for Q3 in qualifying.

The hard last appeared in Spain and was shunned by all drivers, while at subsequent there were demands for tyres even softer and stickier than the ultrasoft.
