With Ferrari World established in Abu Dhabi in 2010 and Ferrari Land Barcelona (pictured) scheduled to open its doors next year, plans are now underway for a third entertainment complex dedicated to the legendary Maranello manufacturer.

The Italian company has revealed that it has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Beijing Automotive and Biac Eternaland Property to build a theme park in China.

While sales of Ferraris dropped by 22% last year, China still represents around 5% of the company's worldwide sales.

Though it is still to be decided where the theme park will be located, the deal, if Beijing Automotive and Biac Eternaland Property proceed, will allow Ferrari to further increase its revenue with the sale of luxury items bearing the iconic branding other than its legendary cars.
