Whilst Ferrari scored a surprise, and popular, victory in Hungary twelve months ago, it is looking increasingly unlikely that the Maranello outfit will be challenging for honours this time around.

Indeed, the tight, twisty nature of the Hungaroring perfectly suits the strengths of the Red Bull RB12, as Mercedes boss Toto Wolff acknowledges.

"This circuit has not been kind to us over the past two years," he admits, "and it plays to the strengths of our rivals.

"The Red Bull, for example, is a car that functions well where high drag isn't penalised as much as at other types of circuit," he continues. "So, in wet conditions and at low-speed circuits such as the Hungaroring, they are a major threat.

"We will need to be flawless to come out on top at this track," he adds.

Other than the excellent package that is the Renault powered RB12, Red Bull has two of the best driving talents on the 2016 grid, and no doubt Daniel Ricciardo, a winner here in 2014, will be keen to get one over on precocious teammate Max Verstappen.
