Rush DVD competition winners

NEWS STORY

In all honesty we were overwhelmed by the response, such were the number of entries – aided no doubt, in no small part, by a Twitter link to the competition from director Ron Howard, such is the class of reader Pitpass attracts.

Anyway, taking time out from testing we have drawn some names out of the hat and the three winners of the Rush Blu Ray DVD are:

Mark Everest from Enstone in Oxfordshire - yes, you read that right, Stephen Adams from Royston in Herts and Simon Johnson from Darwen in Lancashire.

The three runners-up, who each receive an official James Hunt cap, are:

Rodney Mowe from Swadlincote in South Derbyshire, Grajam Freeman from Chesterfield in Derbyshire and Celia Przyrembel from Lathbury in Bucks.

You might remember that to enter the competition you simply needed to email us and in the body of the e-mail name the driver who finished third in the 1976 Formula One World Championship and the team he drove for. As an example we gave... "Joe Bloggs, Fandango".

We will not name the twelve (12) entrants who did just that; said it was Joe Bloggs in a Fandango. You know who you are!
