In celebration of what would have been James Hunt's 66th birthday, StudioCanal has issued a new clip and featurette from Rush, the highly anticipated drama directed by Ron Howard focusing on the Englishman's exhilarating rivalry with Niki Lauda in the 1976 season.
"On behalf of the family I'd like to thank Ron and his team for doing a great job on the film," said Tom Hunt, James' son and founder of the James Hunt foundation, "clearly a lot of effort has gone into recreating that memorable time and it's paid off - i wish it every success. It fills me and the rest of our family with a great deal of pride to know that Dad is so well remembered all these years on, and we'll be thinking of him even more on this day, his birthday.
"To honour that pride and to ensure his legacy lives on my brother and I will be launching the James Hunt Foundation," he continued. "To support that and help raise funds for it the family are also launching the first official line of James Hunt products, part of which is an exciting collection of apparel carefully designed in collaboration with Nicolas Hunziker.
