Australian broadcaster One HD yesterday confirmed that it will be taking the Sky Sports commentary feed for the coming season. Greg Rust, anchor man for One HD's coverage, yesterday confirmed that the broadcaster will use the new Sky Sports team for its commentary feed.
After it was announced at the Hungarian Grand Prix last year that the BBC would not be covering all races live there has been much speculation over how it would affect Australian viewers.
In previous years the BBC and ITV have provided the feed, though in some instances local commentators have stepped in. Until yesterday there had been no indication as to what the broadcaster would do for 2012.
Local coverage is expected to continue to feature former motorcycle racer Darryl Beattie, with Craig Baird - a sometime touring car driver - providing 'expert' comments.
