McLaren has had to fly in replacements after several staff succumbed to 'Delhi Belly'.

With stomach upsets always a problem in India, most teams have brought their own food along, warning crew to be careful what and where they eat.

Nonetheless, a couple of drivers, including Daniel Ricciardo, have succumbed, as have crew members at a number of teams including Sauber.

However, McLaren boss Martin Whitmarsh reveals that with several team members laid low, the Woking outfit has had to fly in replacements.

"We've got a few reserves here, with 'Delhi Belly' we've had to fly some in," he told Reuters. "We've peaked at four down and I'm told we're at two down today.

"Nowadays with Resource Restriction Agreement you can't operate with missing staff," he continued, so some teams flew people out on standby. We had people on standby in the UK for every position in the team. They had to have a bag packed and be ready for the phone call. So we flew two people out as subs. We had to if we had people who weren't likely to back fit quickly enough."
