New footage from the Singapore GP reveals that prior to their coming together, Massa's engineer, Rob Smedley, told the Brazilian to hold up Hamilton and "destroy" his race.

Having lost out at the start and losing a number of positions, Hamilton was working his way back through the pack when he and Massa, who was running in fourth at the time, both pitted at the end of the eleventh lap.

Resuming their duel once back on track, the new footage reveals Smedley telling the Brazilian: "Hold Hamilton as much as we can. Destroy his race as much as we can. Come on boy."

Hamilton subsequently made a move which saw the two cars touch, resulting in a puncture for the Ferrari driver and front wing damage to the McLaren.

The race stewards handed Hamilton a drive-through penalty while post race Massa sarcastically 'congratulated' Hamilton on his performance.

The incident, the latest in a series the Englishman has been involved in this season, has led to Hamilton's father suggesting that the youngster needs guidance while there is talk of his rivals calling for him to be officially spoken to by the powers that be.
