Ahead of the summer break, Ferrari president, Luca di Montezemolo has confirmed that he is expecting his team to pick up more wins in the second half of the season.
The Italian outfit goes into the break off the back of a string of strong performances, at odds with its hesitant start to the 2011 campaign. Fernando Alonso has been on the podium for each of the last four races - the only man to do so - including an historic win at Silverstone.
Having met up with Stefano Domenicali and Pat Fry to assess the first half of the season, the organisation, its programmes and future projects, both short and long term, di Montezemolo came away confident that the Maranello outfit will build on its recent success.
"I can see the right spirit in the team after a very difficult start to the season," he told his team's website. "Domenicali and his crew seem very determined, concentrating fully on their tasks for the second part of the year which I am sure will feature Ferrari in the role of a key player.
"I expect we will pick up wins to add to the important and historically very significant victory achieved at Silverstone," he added.
