A comment from Red Bull suggests that teams are not happy with FIA's decision to put Bahrain back on the 2011 calendar.

A brief statement issued by the Austrian team in the wake of today's meeting of the World Motor Sport council, read:

"Red Bull Racing has acknowledged the FIA World Motor Sport Council's decision to go ahead with the 2011 Bahrain Grand Prix.

We will go through the correct channels and discuss this decision within the appropriate forum with the other F1 teams and our fellow FOTA members."

Whether the teams could actually boycott the event remains to be seen, though in the wake of the cancellation of the original event this is exactly what Williams said it was prepared to do.

Thus far, Red Bull driver Mark Webber has been one of the only people within the paddock to express doubts, the Australian tweeting "When people in a country are being hurt, the issues are bigger than sport," ahead of today's meeting.

A McLaren spokesman subsequently told Pitpass: "All FOTA teams, of which McLaren is one, acknowledge the decision made by the FIA World Motor Sport Council today. That decision is likely to be discussed internally within FOTA, and a more detailed joint position may be defined after those discussions have taken place."
