Stewards in Melbourne have issued the following:
This afternoon the official tyre supplier will deliver 54 new dry-weather tyres of the primary specification for use at this event. This became necessary due to problems occurred during the fitting process which have been outside the control of the tyre supplier.
In accordance with Article 25.3 b) of the 2011 Formula One Sporting Regulations the stewards of the meeting are asked to accept this as a case of force majeure.
