Our sharp-eyed spies inform us that Bernie Ecclestone was spotted in conversation with Williams Chairman Adam Parr in Knightsbridge this afternoon, just an hour or so after it was revealed that Frank Williams is considering floating the team on the stock market.
Apparently the two were seen huddled together in deep and meaningful conversation in the Armani Cafe on Brompton Road, their chat briefly interrupted when former Chelsea star Graeme le Saux walked over to wish the F1 supremo well after his recent mugging.
Ecclestone's mood appeared to lighten once Parr left, presumably to report back to Frank at the team's HQ.
