McLaren has officially denied internet reports that it will be running a radically different livery this season.
Still recovering from the festive season, a couple of websites yesterday claimed that McLaren looked likely to be running a new livery this season - the evidence based on first glimpses of the Woking outfit's team merchandise for 2011 which is predominantly black.
However, via Twitter, the team has this morning confirmed that its cars will continue to run in the "rocket red and chrome finish you've grown to love since Vodafone McLaren Mercedes was born in 2007".
A follow up tweet confirmed that this was official.
