Luca Badoer's thirteen year career with Ferrari will come to an end in Bologna today.

The Italian veteran, who contested 51 Grands Prix with Lola BMS, Minardi, Forti and, most recently two outings for Ferrari last season, will drive the Maranello outfit's 2009 car at the Bologna International Motor Show.

The Italian was called up last season to replace Felipe Massa following his crash at the Hungaroring. However, what should have been the greatest moment of his racing career - driving for his beloved Ferrari - descended into farce as the Italian struggled to get to grips with what was a dog of a car.

Badoer was subsequently replaced by Giancarlo Fisichella who, having enjoyed great late-season success with Force India, was brought back to earth with a bang when he too discovered the delights of the F60.

A former kart champion, Badoer also won the 1992 F3000 championship.

Ferrari has already confirmed GP2 star Jules Bianchi as its test and reserve driver for 2011.
