Following Karun Chandhok's 16 lap run at the new Korean International Circuit at the weekend, on-board video footage has emerged on YouTube.

The video footage, shot on-board the Indian's Red Bull, features an out lap, a 'hot' lap and an in lap, and gives fans their first glimpse of the track that will host the latest addition to the F1 calendar next month.

"It's a really interesting layout", said Chandhok after his run. "The track's got a good mix of corners and I think we'll see a lot of overtaking in the first sector - there are long straights into slow hairpins. The straight after turn one and two is really long, so we may see some good slip streaming there, like in Shanghai. From turn seven onwards, there's a fast section of flowing corners all the way back to the start-finish line - so I think the Red Bull Racing guys will be happy in sectors two and three. It's an interesting layout."

The track 3.492 mile track, which is due to be inspected by the FIA later this month, features 18 corners, its main straight being almost a quarter of a mile in length.
