According to reports in the German media, the front wings on the Red Bull and Ferrari cars have passed further tests by the FIA ahead of today's Hungarian Grand Prix.

While not wishing to go so far as to lodge a protest against the two teams, McLaren and Mercedes have called for clarification of the rules before they head off to try and come up with their own version.

In the meantime, Germany's Auto Motor und Sport reports that late last night the FIA carried out further tests on the suspect wings and found that they fully comply with the existing regulations.

It is understood that the test involved placing 50 kg weights on the endplates, with no more than 10 mm of flexibility allowed.

Furthermore, amidst speculation that flexible floors could be playing a part in the two teams' obvious speed advantage these too were tested but found to be fully compliant with the regulations.
