The FIA's Formula One Commission has agreed that Sauber can change its team name from the end of the current season.
Having bought the team from BMW following its withdrawal from the sport, Sauber entered the 2010 season as BMW Sauber F1 Team even though the engine in the back of the car was a Ferrari.
Now, following this week's meeting of the Formula One Commission in Geneva, the Swiss team will revert to its original name from the end of the year.
