Mark Webber has been hit with a 5-spot grid penalty after his team chose to change the gearbox on his car this morning.
The Australian, who like his teammate, ran on medium (prime) tyres in Q3 yesterday, qualified second. However, this morning a problem was discovered on his gearbox and it was decided to replace it.
This means that the championship leader will start from seventh on the grid.
