FIA reveals changes at Monaco

The FIA has revealed that a number of modifications have been carried out at the Monaco track ahead of this weekend's Grand Prix.

According to the sport's governing body, new higher elements have been added behind the existing kerbs on the apex at the Nouvelle Chicane and at and the the exit of the Swimming Pool (Turn 16).

Furthermore, in addition to extra debris fencing in various locations around the track, several parts of the circuit have been resurfaced. The pitlane surface is all new, as is the stretch from Ste Devote to the junction of Avenue de Monte Carlo.

Also re-surfaced are sections from Place du Casino to the Tunnel du Portier entry and from the tunnel exit to the chicane.
