Fairuz Fauzy has taken to the track at Jerez as Lotus makes its track debut alongside ten of the teams it will compete against in the 2010 world championship.
The track is still damp following overnight rain, with further rain expected throughout the day and over the course of the entire Jerez test.
As the T127 completed a couple of installation laps, it was watched with interest by a sizeable crowd including Heikki Kovalainen, who is scheduled to drive the car tomorrow, and chief technical officer, Mike Gascoyne.
