Stefan GP to test in Portugal

Though it doesn't have a grid slot in 2010, Stefan GP is leading US F1 and Campos Meta in terms of keep the media fully informed regarding its movements, announcing tonight that it is to begin testing in Portugal later this month.

Another slightly cryptic statement on the Serbian team's website claims that the team is to test at Portimao between 25 and 28 February.

Furthermore, the team, which claims it is still hopeful of a 2010 grid slot, reveals that its S-01 chassis, which has been developed in-house but with support from Toyota, will be unveiled before the tests.

In terms of the powerplant, all the team will say is that it is "serviced" by Toyota, while the identity of the two drivers who will be on duty is also shrouded in mystery. The team's claim that one of them "already has two years in F1" suggests that it could be former Toyota protege Kazuki Nakajima.
