Lotus F1 Racing has announced that it will unveil its first car on Friday February 12 though the team has yet to say where this will be held.
With continued speculation regarding three of the new teams Lotus remains the most serious looking of the newcomers.
A February 12 launch will leave two more official tests - Jerez and Barcelona - before the season gets underway in Bahrain on March 12.
