The Paris Tribunal de Grande Instance has revealed that Flavio Briatore's case against the FIA will be heard on November 24.

At the weekend, it was confirmed that the former Renault boss had commenced proceedings in the Paris Tribunal de Grande Instance (High Court) challenging the decision announced by the FIA World Motor Sport Council on 21st September, when the Italian was banned from (FIA sanctioned) motor sport for life.

Briatore claims that the WMSC's ruling was a breach of natural justice, a breach of the rights of the defence and that the FIA's manifest was excessive and an abuse of power.

Briatore's legal representatives addressed the court on Monday at which time they were granted the future hearing.

Thus far, neither the FIA nor Renault, Briatore's former employers, have commented on the action.

Ahead of the Briatore hearing, a court will rule on November 10 in the case of N.Technology's parent company MSC, which has taken the FIA to court in Paris following its failure to secure an entry in the 2010 Formula One World Championship. The Italian outfit is one of several claiming to have been rejected by the FIA for choosing to use a powerplant other than Cosworth.
