Sebastian Vettel, who is thought to be on the shopping lists of several teams, including Ferrari, has extended his contract with Red Bull until 2012.
The Austrian team announced the new deal this morning, just hours before the start of the European GP weekend in Valencia.
The 22-year-old German is a graduate of the Red Bull Junior Team, which he joined at the age of 12. He has already won two Grands Prix this year - in China and the UK - bringing his F1 win total to three and he currently lies third in the 2009 Drivers' Championship.
