As expected, Renault has appealed its ban from next month's European Grand Prix in Valencia
Having been suspended from the Valencia event after breaching Article 23.1.i and Article 3.2 of the 2009 Formula One Sporting Regulations, the ING Renault F1 Team has tonight lodged an appeal.
The appeal was lodged by team manager Steve Nielsen with the Chairman of the Stewards, Alan Donnelly, at 18.50 (local time), within the official one hour limit.
The French team now has eight days in which to lodge its Grounds of Appeal.
