The stewards were kept busy following today's qualifying session at the Nurburgring, meting out punishments to Red Bull and Timo Glock.

The Milton Keynes outfit was fined 10,000 euros following an incident during the first phase of the session when Sebastian Vettel was unsafely released following his pit stop right into the path of Kazuki Nakajima, thereby breaching Article 23.1 (i) of F1's sporting regulations.

Meanwhile Glock was demoted three positions for impeding Fernando Alonso in a "potentially dangerous" manner. However, as the German only qualified nineteenth he only forfeits one place on the grid.
