Ahead of tomorrow's unveiling of the 2010 entry list, Max Mosley is meeting with the eight remaining members of FOTA in an attempt to avert the sport imploding.

Yesterday, at a time when some claimed the two sides were close to agreeing a deal, Renault and Ferrari both flexed their muscles, warning that the crisis which has brought F1 to the brink of splitting is far from settled.

Earlier this week, Mosley called on the teams to submit their entries unconditionally, just days after BMW's Mario Theissen revealed that it was the FIA President who told the teams to enter with conditions in the first place.

Mosley, insists that if the teams enter with no conditions attached they will still be eligible for the 2010 entry list, however, following the announcement of the list those teams that entered under the impression that the £40m budget cap will be in place will need to agree some sort of deal with the FIA and those other (FOTA) teams accepted.
