With rain forecast for at least two days of this weeks test at Portimao, Ferrari has opted to return to Mugello where it will test in private.

The new rules for 2009, which see all in-season testing banned, mean that every day of pre-season testing is precious. Therefore, with this week's four-day test under threat the Maranello outfit felt it had no option but to head back to Tuscany.

Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen will both drive the new F60 over the course of the four day test, but the decision to run alone at Mugello means the Italian team will have to wait until Jerez before it can begin making comparisons to its rivals.
