Making a rare visit to a test session, Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo, today poured cold water on speculation linking Fernando Alonso to his team next season, insisting that the Maranello outfit will continue with its current line-up, Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa.

While Alonso has been linked with a 2010 switch to the Italian team, a recent loss of form, and, more importantly, a lack of inspiration, from Raikkonen has led to talk of the Finn retiring and Alonso partnering Massa.

However, referring to Raikkonen's recent results, di Montezemolo said: "All this criticism of Raikkonen reminds me of when Inzaghi was at Juventus and everyone said he was in crisis if he didn't score for three matches."

Asked whether Raikkonen is staying on in 2009, and will partner Massa, di Montezemolo replied: "Yes, absolutely."

With everything seemingly hunky-dory, one has to wonder why the Ferrari President felt it necessary to attend the test, Raikkonen's only day in action this week.
