A1 Team Great Britain set to reveal new livery and driver assessment as the new A1GP car runs in public for the first time

On the day that the new A1GP Powered by Ferrari car got its first public running at the venue of the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport's season four opener at Mugello in Italy, A1 Team Great Britain is all set to reveal its new look car and announces a driver assessment for its race seat.

For the fourth season of A1GP, A1 Team GBR will be revitalising its look in line with the championship's refreshed logo and branding. A1GP's new logo incorporates the Ferrari brand as the series moves into a new era, and GBR will be proud to display the iconic logo on its new car livery, which will be revealed in the coming weeks.

A1 Team Great Britain is also excited to announce that it will be conducting a driver evaluation during its two-day pre-season test in Britain with the new car. The team has been assessing its options over the summer and will be evaluating British talent over the course of the test with a view to selecting next season's race driver. More details will be revealed on the drivers selected for the test in the early part of August. GBR's Mugello driver line-up will be announced prior to the race, which will be taking place 19-21 September.

Katie Clements, Team Principal: "We are very excited that the new A1GP Powered by Ferrari car has hit the track in Mugello today and can be shown off to the media and the fans. We have been looking forward to this day since the Ferrari deal was announced last year and the next step for us is to get the GBR car on track on British soil for our pre-season test. We are entering an exciting phase for the team with a new car, an invigorated brand and the prospect of announcing our driver line-up within the next six to seven weeks. Also, of course, we are awaiting the announcement of the venue of the British race next May, and we are all eager to find out where we will, hopefully, be lifting the championship winning trophy."

Tony Teixeira, A1GP Chairman: "Partnering with a world-class organisation like Ferrari officially cements A1GP's position on the International motorsport calendar. Ferrari adds significant value to our brand and in our opinion there is no better partner to progress the series. This is the first time Ferrari has partnered with another series and we are extremely proud for them to be working with A1GP as the series moves forward into its fourth season."
