Force India driver Giancarlo Fisichella has been handed a three-place grid penalty following an incident in this morning's free practice session.
The Italian was the first driver out on track this morning, unfortunately, however, the pit lane exit lights had not yet turned green.
Consequently, Fisichella, who gave the Indian team its first top ten finish in Barcelona two weeks ago, will forfeit three places on the grid.
In the four races thus far, the Italian's best qualifying position has been seventeenth, which he managed in Australia and Malaysia.
