BMW has announced that its 2008, currently designated the F1.08, will be launched on January 14/15, though the location has not been revealed.
In only its second season as an entrant in its own right, BMW will finish runner-up to Ferrari in the Constructors' Championship, following the exclusion of McLaren.
The German team, which will retain its 2007 line-up, is 41 points clear of 2006 champions Renault, courtesy of a number of strong finishes, including two podiums.
