Toro Rosso's Tonio Liuzzi has been handed a 25s penalty following today's Japanese Grand Prix after official adjudged the Italian to have overtaken Adrian Sutil under a yellow flag.

The 25s penalty demotes Liuzzi to ninth place, which means that Toro Rosso has yet to score this season, while, ironically, Adrian Sutil moves up to eighth and thereby gives Spyker its first point of the season.

"For sure I think we deserved this point after all the hard work this year and we finally got it," said Sutil. "It is a great feeling, even if we didn't get it on the track. I think it was the right decision, there was no green flag after this yellow flag from turn one, so we were definitely right and that is why we got this point."

Liuzzi was not available for comment.
