One minute we are told that all is well at McLaren, then the Spanish media suggests that Fernando Alonso feels un-rewarded.

Now, the Spaniard is telling everyone that he's happy at Woking, though admitting that his options elsewhere are limited.

With talk of him leaving McLaren at the end of the year, not to mention speculation as to him taking a year's sabbatical or maybe even retiring from the sport, the Spaniard yesterday admitted that his options are limited.

"There are not many options I think and I have a contract with McLaren so the possibilities for the near future are around here, driving for McLaren," he told reporters. "As far as I know that is the only possibility."

Asked if he was happy at McLaren, the World Champion smiled; ""As far as I have a winning car, I'm happy.

"This year we have a winning car," he continued, we are first and second in the drivers (championship) and leading the constructors so I am happy."

Alonso might be happy with McLaren, but it is understood that there are many within the team who are far from happy with him as a result of some of his recent comments.
