Ferrari has revealed that talks with Ross Brawn as to his future with the team have taken place.
Taking a sabbatical for a year, Brawn has been the subject of much speculation, with Honda claiming to have made an approach earlier this season. As the speculation intensified, Brawn broke his silence and admitted that should he decide to return to F1 it would almost certainly be with Ferrari.
Speaking to The Guardian, Ferrari's Luca Colajanni admitted that initial talks have been held, though no decision has been made.
"The matter is still open on both sides," he said. ""No deal has been concluded, but the fact that talks have taken place is positive."
