On arriving back from holiday in the Philippines, Nigel Stepney admitted that he is "surprised" at the recent turn of events, in which hew has been accused of sabotage and espionage, handing information to Mike Coughlan at McLaren, and claimed that he has done nothing wrong.
The Italian news service ANSA reports that Stepney, who is being investigated for "various crimes" rejects all accusations. It also adds that two other people are being investigated.
Yesterday, Ferrari revealed that it had been tipped off by a third party outside Formula One racing. It also confirmed that thus far the British police have not been involved in the investigation.
