BMW has revealed that Nick Heidfeld has been given the all-clear to contest the remainder of the French Grand Prix weekend.
There were fears that the German might have to withdraw when he missed the second half on Friday's second session following the reoccurrence of a back pain which caused him to miss the recent test at Silverstone.
However, following treatment overnight, the German team announced this morning (Saturday) that the 30-year-old, who currently lies fifth in the World Championship, will take part in tomorrow's race.
