As widely predicted, it looks as though former F1 driver Antonio Pizzonia's time with Fisichella Motor Sport is at an end.

After a poor start to the season, the Brazilian was not present at the recent two-day test at Paul Ricard, his place being taken by Venezuelan Ernesto Viso.

Today, the team issued the following statement:

British driver Adam Carroll (right) will substitute Antonio Pizzonia from the next GP2 race at Magny Cours in France.

Fisichella Motor Sport International wishes to thank Antonio Pizzonia for his contribution and especially for his work with the set up and development of the FMSI car during the pre-championship tests.
