It's understood that Spyker's Christijan Albers has parted ways with his manager Lodewijk Varossieau after seven years.

Both sides claim that the split is amicable, even though it leaves the former Minardi and Midland driver without a manager.

Albers has not had the best of seasons thus far, having been regularly out-performed by teammate Adrian Sutil, while both drivers were publicly criticised by the team for needless accidents in Montreal which eliminated both of them from the Canadian Grand Prix.
