Following speculation on a number of internet message boards and forums at the weekend Pitpass can confirm that it has been threatened with legal action by Honda GP Limited.
A London based legal company (M Law) contacted Pitpass by e-mail on Thursday claiming to represent Honda GP Limited and its related group companies (known as Honda) and Nick Fry, Chief Executive Officer of Honda GP Limited.
For obvious reasons Pitpass is not in a position to comment on this action other than to confirm that it relates to two articles which have appeared on the site.
Pitpass has been asked to remove the articles and undertake that no similar such material will appear on the site in future.
Pitpass has been advised that Honda GP Limited and Nick Fry will forego their entitlement to substantial damages providing it removes the articles and meets both parties costs.
