BCN Competicion have announced that their second seat is vacant following the collapse of negotiations with Argentine driver Ricardo Risatti (right).

A team statement reads:

"Due to the failure of Ricardo 'Caito' Risatti in raising the total budget needed to participate in the 2007 GP2 Series Championship, and because of the negative response of the South American and European Companies, his managers and the BCN team have decided as from today to stop any contractual negotiation.

Risatti is exploring the possibility of participating in other championships and BCN wish him the best in his future career."

The 2007 GP2 season gets underway at Sakhir on 15 April.

Currently, there are three seats available, one apiece at BCN Competicion, Racing Engineering and Durango.
