As predicted, heavy rain has hit Jerez, and consequently at least one team, Renault, has opted not to run today.
Contrary to reports elsewhere however, the teams will not remain at the circuit for an extra day (Friday) because they have to be in Barcelona by Sunday in order to begin a three-day test on Monday. Furthermore, rain is also forecast tomorrow.
While Renault packs up and heads for Barcelona, the other eight teams will attempt to make the best of the conditions.
