Due to the heavy rain in Valencia, McLaren has taken the decision not to test today, as the team would not have been able to complete the scheduled development programme in the severe wet weather conditions.
Following yesterday's crash involving Lewis Hamilton, the Woking outfit's programme was already compromised, with Fernando Alonso scheduled to be the team's sole representative today.
The team's preparations for Melbourne will continue here next week, with Hamilton and Pedro de la Rosa in attendance from Tuesday 30th January until Thursday 1st February.
