Lewis Hamilton has crashed his MP4-22 at Valencia, the second day of a private test McLaren is holding at the Spanish track.
Details of the incident are somewhat sketchy, though a McLaren spokeswoman has confirmed to Pitpass that the English driver is "fine and uninjured".
That's more than can be said of the car however, which will need to be returned to Woking to be repaired. The spokeswoman was unable to confirm whether the accident was due to driver error or a mechanical failure.
McLaren will continue testing here tomorrow, with Fernando Alonso carrying out all testing duties.
